Yestermorrow

I'm currently getting a certificate in woodworking from Yestermorrow, a design/build school in Warren, Vermont.  It always has interesting craftsmen/women floating around, teaching or just stopping by. I`ll be putting up pictures from different things we'll be doing. Konichiwa.

Our first class outing: A Mr. Paul Catoe showing us what to look for when felling hard and soft woods and teaching low-impact harvesting. Will, in the background, is the owner of the property. He runs Catamount Aviation and has an interesting blog on everything from making maple syrup to his cremated remains scattering service.

Shop filled with white oak. Intro to traditional woodworking - green ladder back chairs out of 'green', white oak. Hand carved with a draw knife.
